Corinthians will be without goalkeeper Lelê for Friday's Brasileirão Feminino opener against Atlético-MG at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte, kick-off 21:00. Head coach Lucas Piccinato cannot call on her after she suffered a concussion in Saturday's Supercopa Feminina final.

The club said in a statement that she sustained head trauma in the first half and is following concussion return-to-play protocol, so she did not train on Tuesday. The expectation is she will resume activities gradually under the Health and Performance Unit, with a view to being cleared for ball work early next week.

In her absence, Nicole Ramos is likely to start. She was first choice for much of 2025 and meets her former side, having played for Atlético-MG in 2022 and 2023.

The incident occurred in the 16th minute of the first half against Palmeiras, during a swift attack. Bia Zaneratto challenged for the ball with Lelê, who took a knee to the head, the protocol was activated and she was replaced by Nicole.

She is to remain out for five days, deemed necessary for full recovery. The club must also present detailed tests showing no symptoms and a medical report on treatment, and she left Arena Barueri after the final walking unaided.
