Corinthians draw Peñarol, Independiente Santa Fe and Platense in 2026 Libertadores

Conmebol conducted the 2026 Copa Libertadores group-stage draw in Luque, Paraguay, on Thursday night. According to Meu Timao, Corinthians landed in Group E with Peñarol, Independiente Santa Fe and Platense.

Fixture specifics are due from Conmebol by Friday night, and Corinthians will open away to Platense in Argentina.

Each group of four plays home and away. The top two progress to the last 16, with third dropping into the Copa Sudamericana play-offs. The group stage runs between seven April and 28 May.

The last 16 is scheduled for 11 to 20 August. Quarter-finals follow from eight to 17 September, and the semi-finals are set for 14 and 22 October.

The final is a single match on 28 November at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay. This is Corinthians’ 18th Libertadores campaign, their sole title came in 2012.
