Corinthians host Palmeiras in the 11th round of the Brasileirão at Neo Química Arena on Sunday at 18:30, with nine absentees and four players one booking from a ban.

According to Meu Timao, the absences include forwards Memphis Depay, Kaio César and Gui Negão, all with right-thigh issues, plus centre-back João Pedro Tchoca with pubic pain. Right-back Pedro Milans has a left ankle sprain, left-back Hugo Farias is recovering from right knee meniscus surgery, and midfielder Charles has a right heel problem. Centre-back André Ramalho is suspended after his third yellow against Internacional, while left-back Fabrizio Angileri has been rested due to muscle fatigue.

The quartet walking a disciplinary tightrope are midfielder André Carrillo, centre-back Gustavo Henrique, goalkeeper Hugo Souza and right-back Matheuzinho. A further caution on Sunday would rule them out of the next league game against Vitória.

Left-back Matheus Bidu and midfielder Allan return from suspension after missing the Internacional match last Sunday.

Corinthians sit 16th, the first spot outside the relegation zone, with two wins, four draws and four defeats from 10 matches. Victory over their biggest rivals could ease the pressure and nudge them up the table.
