Corinthians fans can bring instruments to Ginásio Wlamir Marques again

On the night of this Thursday (27), Corinthians hosts Campo Mourão in a decisive clash for the semifinal of the National Futsal League. Timão steps onto the court at Ginásio Wlamir Marques at 8:00 PM (Brasília time) seeking to secure their spot in the grand final of the tournament and will have some extra support to do so.

The Central do Timão team has learned that Gaviões da Fiel, the main organized supporters group of the club from Parque São Jorge, has received authorization to use musical instruments in the stands of Ginásio Wlamir Marques.

Although the permission was granted solely to the organized supporters group, the measure marks a historic milestone, as Corinthians fans had not been allowed to use instruments in the arena for 16 years.

The expectation is that Ginásio Wlamir Marques will be packed this Thursday, just as it was in the quarterfinal match against Magnus Futsal. Tickets for the match went on sale last Wednesday (19).

The team led by Fernando Malafaia won the first match between the teams 1-0, playing in Paraná. Thus, Corinthians only needs a draw in regular time to secure qualification. Even if they lose in regulation time, they will still have the advantage of qualifying in the event of a tie in overtime.
