Corinthians forward Jaqueline scored Brazil's only goal in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Venezuela in Toluca on Wednesday.
Introduced from the bench, she needed only seven minutes to strike with Venezuela 2-0 ahead. She collected on the right, controlled, and from outside the box drove a mid-height shot into the corner. According to Meu Timao, this is her second call-up under head coach Arthur Elias.
She had not been called up since 2024, when she took part in the annual SheBelieves Cup in the United States, featuring against Canada and Japan.
The strike was her first for the senior side in three years and four months, her previous Brazil goal coming in 2022 under Pia Sundhage in a 4-1 win over Norway.
At 25, she is in strong form for Corinthians, with 11 goals and six assists across 38 matches in 2025 and 2026.
Brazil face Mexico on Saturday, the seventh, at 20:00 Brasília time. She will then return to Brazil to bolster Corinthians' preparations for the derby with Palmeiras on the 13th at Arena Barueri.
