Corinthians had a busy Thursday, honouring club icon Sócrates, strengthening their under-20s and ending the day with a league win.
According to Meu Timao, the club marked what would have been Sócrates’ 72nd birthday on 19 February with tributes across its social channels.

The club also progressed the arrival of a new right-back for the under-20s, and confirmed three further additions to the same squad.
Later, Corinthians beat Athletico Paranaense 1-0 at Arena da Baixada. Rodrigo Garro scored the decisive goal.
The result moved the side into fifth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
