Corinthians host Fluminense at Neo Química in Brasileirão Feminino

Corinthians faces Fluminense this Friday night (20th), at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the second round of the 2026 Brazilian Championship. The Brabas play their second match in the competition after starting with a victory against Atlético-MG away from home.

With three points earned and a positive goal difference of one, the alvinegro team sits in eighth place in the Brasileirão standings. If they win against the team from Rio, the Brabas have the chance to climb positions and close the gap to the leaders. It’s important to note that only the top eight teams at the end of the initial phase — played in a single round over 17 matches — advance to the knockout stage.

Probable Corinthians lineup

Coach Lucas Piccinato is expected to start the match with: Lelê (Nicole Ramos); Gi Fernandes, Thais Ferreira, Letícia Teles (Erika) and Tamires; Dayana Rodríguez, Andressa Alves and Duda Sampaio; Belén Aquino, Jaqueline and Jhonson.

Refereeing

The referee will be Francielly Fernanda Lima de Castro (MG), assisted by Juliana Vicentin Esteves (SP) and Anna Beatriz Scagnolato (SP). The fourth official will be Jessica Aparecida Milani (SP). This stage of the competition does not use VAR.

After facing Fluminense, Corinthians will play Palmeiras next Friday (March 13th), at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), at Arena Barueri. The match will be valid for the third round of the Brazilian Championship.
