Corinthians keep perfect record with fourth win over América-MG | OneFootball

Corinthians maintained their flawless record against América-MG in women's football, winning 4-0 at Neo Química Arena on Monday. It was their fourth victory in as many meetings.

Since 2016, the year the women's team was re-established, the clubs have faced off in the Campeonato Brasileiro in 2016, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The first clash came in February 2016 at Estádio José Liberatti in Osasco, in the third round. Corinthians won 3-0, with Janaína scoring twice and Byanca Brasil adding the other.

After an eight year gap, they met again in March 2024 at Fazendinha in the second round. Corinthians prevailed 4-1, through Tarciane, Mariza, Yaya and Duda Sampaio, with Gadu replying for América.

The third meeting was in May 2025 at Arena do Jacaré in Sete Lagoas in the 10th round. Andressa Alves settled it 1-0.

In the 2026 fourth round, Gabi Zanotti struck twice, with Erika and Andressa Alves also on target. Across the head to head, the aggregate stands at 12-1.
