Corinthians launch ‘Meu FT em Dia’ to reach 100,000 FT members

On the last September 1st, Corinthians carried out an action with its fans as part of the celebrations for its 115th anniversary: the My FT in Day campaign, which aimed to encourage fans with debts in the Fiel Torcedor (FT) program to opt for automatic billing as a form of payment of their monthly fees and, in return, receiving forgiveness for all the debts they had in their records.

The Central do Timão found that about seven thousand fans have joined the campaign so far, a number considered positive despite the total contingent of delinquent Corinthians fans, which exceeds 570 thousand in total. The good impression regarding the numbers is related to the addition of this contingent to the total number of members, which has been increasing since the implementation of facial biometrics at Neo Química Arena.

This increase was detected by a recent study conducted by the club's Technology Department, about the first effects of biometrics on the logistics of the Neo Química Arena (read the article about this study here). The analysis revealed that between June and mid-August the number of FT members went from about 50 thousand to almost 90 thousand, an increase of 78.9% in two months.

Now, with the members "recovered" by the Fiel in Day campaign, this number exceeded 90 thousand, with the club starting the countdown to return to reach the mark of 100 thousand paying fans on the platform. The record contingent of the program's history was reached in 2022, during the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores, when the Fiel Torcedor reached the peak of 152 thousand members.
