Corinthians have loaned defender João Pedro Tchoca to Torino, with a conditional obligation to buy.

The club said the loan runs until the end of June and is worth 1.5 million euros. If he plays 10 matches of at least 45 minutes in that period, the deal becomes a 4.5 million euros transfer.

The agreement includes a further 1 million euros in bonuses, and Corinthians will receive 12% of any profit if Torino sell the 22-year-old in future.

Head coach Dorival Júnior called it a career opportunity, noting that when he arrived Tchoca was fifth-choice, then earned his chance and merited the move. He added that he hopes the defender does very well and advances his career positively.

Tchoca joined Corinthians in 2019 aged 16 and won the Copa São Paulo in 2024. For the senior side he made 33 appearances and scored one goal, winning the Paulista and the Copa do Brasil last year.
