Corinthians beat Barra 1-0 at Neo Química Arena in the Copa do Brasil on Thursday, maintaining an almost flawless home record against Santa Catarina clubs.

According to Meu Timao, progression sends Corinthians into the last 16, with the draw on 26 May and the ties set for the first week of August, after the World Cup pause.

There have been 19 such home meetings, yielding 12 wins, six draws and one defeat. The only loss came in the arena’s first match in 2014, a 1-0 reverse to Figueirense, Giovanni Augusto scoring before joining Corinthians 18 months later.

Barra were the sixth team from the state to visit, alongside Figueirense, Chapecoense, Criciúma, Joinville and Avaí. Chapecoense have been the most frequent visitors with eight trips, losing four and drawing four.

Across those games, Corinthians have scored 27 and conceded nine, a 73.68% return.
