According to Meu Timao, Corinthians and principal sponsor Esportes da Sorte staged a series of pre-match tributes at Neo Química Arena on Sunday, honouring recent trophies and the Fiel’s backing before the derby with Palmeiras.

The three cups won in 2025 and early 2026, the Campeonato Paulista, Copa do Brasil and Supercopa do Brasil, were displayed pitchside from the moment the gates opened, giving home fans a close look at the silverware.

After the warm-ups, the club saluted its organised supporters in reference to the Fiel’s Brasília Invasão during the Supercopa do Brasil, a 2-0 win over Flamengo that secured Corinthians’ second title in the competition.

Presidents of each torcida organizada were invited onto the pitch to receive a commemorative plaque and shirt, representing all Corinthians supporters. The artwork featured each group’s emblem and a special logo with a bus symbolising the Invasão Corinthiana.

Moments before kick-off, members of the Gaviões da Fiel samba school held a brief parade with flags celebrating the club’s 31 Paulista titles, a record haul.

The match forms part of the seventh and penultimate round of the Campeonato Paulista. A win would lift Corinthians above their rivals into second place. The team are currently fifth on 11 points, one fewer than fourth-placed Palmeiras.
