Corinthians reveal line-up to face Novorizontino in Paulistão semi-final

On Saturday night, at 8:30 p.m. (Brasília time), Corinthians visits Novorizontino at the Jorge Ismael de Biasi Stadium, known as Jorjão, in a match valid for the semifinals of the 2026 Paulista Championship. In the quarterfinals, Alvinegro defeated Portuguesa in a penalty shootout, 8 x 7, after a 1 x 1 draw in regular time. The team from the interior of São Paulo, in turn, knocked out Santos at home with a 2 x 1 victory.

The Corinthians coaching staff will not be able to count on the following players for the match: goalkeeper Felipe Longo (sprained ligament in the right elbow), left-back Hugo Farias (recovering from surgery on the lateral meniscus of the knee), midfielder Matheus Pereira (grade 2 injury treatment in the left thigh’s biceps femoris), midfielder Zakaria Labyad (physical reconditioning), as well as forwards Kaio César (in the final stage of recovery from a right hamstring injury) and Yuri Alberto (recovering from a grade 2 injury in the left thigh’s biceps femoris).

Given this, coach Dorival Júnior has chosen to start the match with: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, André, Breno Bidon, Allan, Rodrigo Garro, and Memphis Depay.

The bench options are: Kauê, João Pedro, André Ramalho, Vitinho, Pedro Raul, Carillo, Pedro Milans, Angileri, Kayke, Charles, Gui Negão, and Dieguinho.

After facing Novorizontino, Corinthians faces uncertainty regarding the date of its next match in the 2026 calendar. If they advance to the final, Timão will face Palmeiras or São Paulo as early as next Wednesday (04). If eliminated, they return to the field only on the following Wednesday, the 11th, for the Brazilian Championship, against Coritiba, in the fifth round of the national tournament, at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time).
