Corinthians have submitted a 50-player squad for the 2026 Copa Libertadores, and open their campaign on Thursday 9 at 21:00 away to Platense in Buenos Aires.
According to Meu Timao, Conmebol requires a minimum of 18 outfield players and three goalkeepers, and Corinthians have opted for a broader list including 20 academy players, since clubs who register fewer cannot add later.
Changes are only permitted in specific windows. Clubs may make up to five alterations before the last 16, then up to three in the quarter-finals and three in the semi-finals, with no changes allowed for the final.
An exception exists for injured goalkeepers, who can be replaced at any stage if the injury is proven and certified by Conmebol’s medical commission.
Corinthians share their group with Platense, Peñarol of Uruguay and Santa Fe of Colombia. The first phase is home and away, six matches in total, with the top two advancing to the last 16 and the third entering the Copa Sudamericana play-off.
The club are chasing a second Libertadores crown. Their sole title came in 2012 against Boca Juniors, and since then they have played seven editions, with a best recent run in 2022 ending in the quarter-finals to Flamengo.
The list features Felipe Longo, Hugo Souza and Kauê in goal, defenders Gabriel Paulista and Gustavo Henrique, midfielders Allan, Jesse Lingard, Matheus Pereira and Rodrigo Garro, and forwards Memphis Depay, Pedro Raul and Yuri Alberto.
