UOL reports that Corinthians are evaluating a loan move for Flamengo midfielder Allan, potentially running until the end of 2026.
The club would need to beat São Paulo, who held advanced talks with the player’s camp, though there is no agreement with Flamengo.
The 28-year-old would provide cover following the departure of Maycon, whose Shakhtar Donetsk loan expired on 31 December. He accepted an offer from Atlético Mineiro.
Allan is outside Filipe Luís’s plans. This season he played 33 of Flamengo’s 78 official matches, totalling 1,649 minutes, nearly 50 per game.
He has not featured since the draw with Vasco da Gama in September. He has been at Flamengo since mid-2023.
The midfielder came through at Internacional and joined Liverpool at 18 in 2015. He was not used and had loans in Finland, Belgium, Cyprus and Germany. He moved to Fluminense in 2019 before four seasons at Atlético-MG.
With the transfer ban lifted on Friday, Corinthians have accelerated early-window business. Centre-back Gabriel Paulista is closest to being confirmed, having arrived in São Paulo for medical checks and expected to sign a two-year deal. The club have also explored Luis Mandaca of Juventude and Dieguinho of Ceará.
