Corinthians are pursuing a loan for Botafogo striker Arthur Cabral as they prepare to face Flamengo in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

ESPN reports that the São Paulo club have lodged an official loan proposal, with Botafogo open to his exit and talks ongoing over financial terms.

Corinthians intend to cover only part of Cabral’s salary until the end of the season, so Botafogo are still assessing the structure before responding.

Flamengo sit fourth in the table on 13 points, while Corinthians have nine.
