Corinthians win Futsal Down Copa do Brasil with 7-1 final, Renato Gregório hits 28 | OneFootball

Corinthians won the 2026 Copa do Brasil de Futsal Down, the club said in a statement, after a commanding campaign in Maceió, Alagoas, staged from 10 to 14.

They produced the tournament’s best attack and defence. In the group stage they routed Pouso Alegre 12-0, lost 6-2 to Galápagos Jr, then beat CDC Avelino 4-0 and Nova Aliança 6-2.

In the semi-finals they defeated Downs no Esporte 5-2. In the final they met Galápagos Jr again and won 7-1 to seal the national crown.

Renato Gregório, a three-time world player of the year in the discipline, top-scored with 28 and was named player of the tournament and of the final.

Goalkeeper Gabriel was recognised as the least beaten and the best in his position. The club congratulated everyone involved and highlighted the project’s role in inclusive sport, noting the squad met president Osmar Stabile at Parque São Jorge before travelling.
