Corinthians beat Botafogo 3-1 on Friday night, ending a four-month wait for consecutive wins and delivering their first streak of the season.
As reported by Meu Timao.
Before that, the Brabas swept América Mineiro 4-0 at Neo Química Arena, with Gabi Zanotti scoring twice and Erika and Andressa Alves also on target.
Their previous back-to-back victories came between the Paulistão Feminino final and the Copa das Campeãs da Fifa semi-final, a 1-0 win over Palmeiras followed by a 2-0 success against Gotham FC of the United States the following year.
Since then, they had failed to string results together, even after beating Atlético Mineiro 1-0, a 2-2 draw with Fluminense at the Arena halted momentum.
The latest victory lifts Corinthians to 10 points and up one place to fourth. Palmeiras lead on 12, with Cruzeiro and Flamengo on 11 apiece.
Next up is Red Bull Bragantino on Friday, 3 April at 21:00, in the sixth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, venue to be confirmed.
