Coritiba host Fluminense in the Brasileirão on Saturday, 4 April 2026, at Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira, with the visitors second on 19 points and the hosts seventh on 14 in a live scrap for continental places.
Coritiba and Fluminense traded home wins last season. The sides now meet with contrasting targets shaped by the table: the visitors chasing the top four, the hosts guarding a Sudamericana berth.
Form points to momentum for both. Coxa have three wins in their past five league games and drew with Vasco da Gama last time out. Flu have won four of their past five, including a 3-1 victory over Corinthians in midweek.
Availability could shape selection. Coxa are without Keno, Rodrigues and goalkeeper Pedro Morisco through injury, and Joaquín Lavega is suspended. Tricolor Carioca are missing Luciano Acosta (suspended) plus Nonato, Facundo Bernal and Matheus Reis through injury.
The match-up angles are clear. Coxa have scored only two league goals at home, so set pieces and transitions could be vital, while their defence has conceded nine in nine. Flu have been far stronger at home than away, with just one away win and four away points, yet they have 16 goals overall and may still test the hosts' back line.
A win would move Coxa-Branca to 17 points and further cement their Sudamericana push. Three points for Flu would take them to 22 and strengthen their hold on the top four, keeping them firmly in the title chase.
