Large sections of the fanbase at La Liga champions Barcelona have on Sunday made known once more their frustration with the standard of officiating in Spain’s top-flight.

This comes owing to developments in their side’s latest outing.

Barcelona are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front.

Eyeing a return to winning ways after being condemned to a first defeat of the term at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in midweek, the Blaugrana have made the trip to Andalusia, for a league meeting with Sevilla.

As things stand, however, Hansi Flick’s troops find themselves headed towards a 2nd loss in succession.

It is Sevilla who currently boast the advantage at The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, owing to an Alexis Sánchez spot-kick.

As much came after Ronald Araújo was responsible for an altogether clumsy piece of defending.

As alluded to above, however, many of a Barcelona persuasion are nevertheless of the opinion that the penalty call was the wrong one.
