The Coupe de France final has been moved to Friday 22 May at 21:00 at the Stade de France, due to works on RER lines B and D.
According to Le Progres, the French Football Federation confirmed the scheduling change after its board meeting on Tuesday.
The match had initially been slated for Saturday 23 May, with relocation discussed after engineering works over the Pentecost long weekend, part of the Grand Paris project, cast doubt on staging the game at the venue.
The federation described the national stadium as a symbolic site, home to Les Bleus and to finals since 1998, saying it guarantees neutrality and sporting fairness. It added the arena will host the 108th final of the 109th edition.
The FFF first asked the state to suspend the works for the weekend, then explored moving the final to another ground in France. It ultimately chose to bring the match forward by one day, a decision ratified by its executive committee on Tuesday.
The game will now take place on the same evening as the rugby Challenge Cup final in Bilbao, Spain.
