Cristiano Ronaldo invested $7.5 million in Herbalife-linked tech company taking 10% stake and boosting investor confidence.
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has announced new business move after investing $7.5 million for 10% stake in HBL Pro2col Software LLC, a company linked to the Herbalife group.
The company works in digital health technology and focuses on advanced software that analyzes user data to create personalized nutrition and health programs.
The investment aims to strengthen Herbalife’s position in fast-growing sector tied to wellness and performance.
Following news of Ronaldo’s investment, Herbalife shares climbed by more than 15% during morning trading. The rise was also supported by the company’s fourth-quarter results which showed 6.3% increase in sales.
The figures point to improving performance after difficult period for the company, with Ronaldo’s involvement adding extra confidence for investors.
Ronaldo has been partner of Herbalife since 2013 and described the investment as “natural step” in their long-term relationship. He said working with the company continues to motivate him at this stage of his career.
Beyond football, Ronaldo remains one of the most powerful brands in sport. He tops Forbes list of the highest-paid footballers in 2025, with estimated annual income of $280 million including around $50 million from business activities.
Ronaldo’s influence extends far beyond the pitch, with social media following of more than 1.04 billion across platforms. His CR7 brand continues to play major role in driving market interest and commercial growth.
On the sporting side, the Portugal captain is preparing for World Cup in North America. He is aiming to win his first World Cup title and reach the milestone of 1000 career goals.
