West Ham face a massive Premier League test this Saturday, April 25, 2026, as Everton visit the London Stadium for an important clash. Currently sitting 17th, the Hammers know that anything less than a win could see them slide into the relegation zone, especially if Tottenham get a result against Wolves.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s men are coming off a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace, a gritty point that kept them two clear of Spurs with just four games left. Encouragingly for the home fans, West Ham haven’t lost to Everton in their last five meetings across all competitions, a streak that should provide a much-needed confidence boost heading into kickoff.

West Ham United’s predicted Starting Lineup Against Everton:

Defence:

Nuno is expected to stick with a 4-4-1-1 setup, with Mads Hermansen starting between the posts while Lukasz Fabianski remains sidelined. Kyle Walker-Peters looks set to keep his spot at right-back, having been a consistent performer lately.

Choosing between him and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely the only real headache Nuno faces with his team selection this week. In the heart of the defence, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Axel Disasi will pair up to provide aerial strength and calm distribution. Malick Diouf rounds out the back four on the left. The group will be feeling good, having just secured back-to-back Premier League clean sheets for the first time in over a year.

In the middle of the park, the quartet of Jarrod Bowen, Mateus Fernandes, Tomás Souček, and Crysencio Summerville will be tasked with dictating play against an Everton side that has looked shaky recently. Souček provides the veteran presence and defensive cover needed to shield the centre-backs, while Fernandes offers the energy to drive the team forward. Bowen will look to cause problems from the right; he notably hit his 350th league appearance for the club during the Palace draw. On the opposite flank, Summerville’s job is to stretch the Toffees’ defence and exploit any gaps left behind.

Attack:

Pablo is slated to play in the number 10 role, using his vision to link the midfield to the attack. West Ham invested heavily in both Pablo and Valentín Castellanos in January, a combined £50 million move driven by Nuno’s specific recruitment targets.

Castellanos will spearhead the attack as the lone striker, and the pressure is on him to be clinical in front of goal. History suggests we’re in for goals, as both teams have scored in each of their last five league meetings. Nuno will be demanding that his frontmen stay sharp and make every chance count at the London Stadium this Saturday.
