Crystal Palace will assess the injuries to Adam Wharton and Maxence Lacroix after both were forced off in the first half of Thursday's Conference League quarter-final second leg at Fiorentina. Palace lost 2-1 on the night but advanced to the semi-final on aggregate.
According to NY Times, manager Oliver Glasner said further tests are needed and he could not yet gauge the severity.
Wharton was withdrawn after half an hour with an adductor problem, the same issue that forced him to leave the England camp a few weeks ago.
Lacroix then hurt his knee in a collision with team-mate Daniel Munoz while clearing, tried to continue, but went down again three minutes later and was replaced by Chadi Riad.
Glasner said the medial ligament appeared overstretched and hoped it was not too serious. He added the pair might be unavailable for the rest of the season, although that remains unclear.
Two enforced changes before the break cost Palace two substitution windows, so Jean-Philippe Mateta was withdrawn at half-time to preserve flexibility, as the striker was unlikely to finish.
Glasner highlighted the 91st-minute third goal at Selhurst Park, which gave Palace a three-goal cushion in Florence against experienced opponents.
He gave the players a free night to celebrate, recalling a similar decision after Eintracht Frankfurt's 2022 Europa League quarter-final, and said he hoped for a similar ending.
