Sky Sports claim Crystal Palace are interested in former Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell, who is valued at more than £20m.

The England youth international came through Leeds’ academy and broke into the first team but minutes were limited amid centre-back competition. He left after more than a decade to join Toulouse in July 2024 for a fee thought to be about £3.8m.

Now 23, his stock has climbed. Brighton had a €23m offer rejected in January and could return this summer, although they are set to sign Pascal Struijk from Leeds.

Palace finished two points below Leeds last season in 15th.

Leeds’ new Premier League rivals Hull City are set to recruit an England-capped goalkeeper as Ivor Pandur heads to Rangers in a £6m deal, the report adds. Jack Butland, 33, is then set to move from Rangers to Hull in a separate £3m transfer.

Elsewhere, Leeds’ Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest are close to losing Elliot Anderson after he passed his medical ahead of a record £116m switch to Manchester City. City have also appointed Enzo Marcesa as manager, replacing Pep Guardiola.
