Crystal Palace Women sign Chelsea’s Brooke Aspin on loan | OneFootball

Crystal Palace have signed England youth international defender Brooke Aspin on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

The 19-year-old spent last term on loan to Bristol City, whom she previously helped win the Championship in 2022/23.

She has captained England at U-17 and U-19 level, getting her first call-up for the U-23s last season.

Aspin told cpfc.co.uk: “It’s amazing. I’ve come here to hopefully show Crystal Palace what I’m about, and I’ve loved every minute so far. The ambition for the club looks amazing and it’s impressive how they’ve got into the WSL, so I can’t wait.”

Head of Women’s Football Grace Williams said: “Brooke is a brilliant defender who possesses a great amount of experience and potential at a young age.

“We look forward to helping her develop with further WSL football as we look to also establish ourselves in the competition.”
