Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta a target for AC Milan | OneFootball

Jean-Philippe Mateta (28) continues to impress at Crystal Palace, and for the France national team, and Fabrizio Romano understands that he is now the subject of interest from several clubs in the Premier League, and from Italy.

Mateta so far has eight goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this season, including six in 12 in the Premier League. His form has seen him make the breakthrough at international level. In his first three appearances for Les Bleus, he already has two goals.

But his future at club level is uncertain. His contract at Crystal Palace runs until the summer of 2027, however, in 2026, he could be the subject of approaches, Romano understands. Currently, there are no talks over a contract extension at Crystal Palace. Several clubs in the PL and Serie A are attentive to Mateta’s situation, including AC Milan, whose interest in the centre-forward dates back to last summer.
