Cucurella Gets 7, Fernandez With 6.5 | Chelsea Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Arsenal

Chelsea faced off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win on the road in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg contest. The Blues made a decent start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
The West London club conceded in injury time when Kai Havertz found the back of the net. Liam Rosenior’s men ended up losing the match by a 1-0 scoreline.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the clash against the Gunners.
He made one solid save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet
CB: Wesley Fofana – 6.5/10
Fofana cleared his lines when he could and made one good run with the ball.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6.5/10
He put his foot through the ball when required and was a threat at the other end of the field.
CB: Jorrel Hato – 6.5/10
Hato made some crucial clearances inside his half and was replaced in the 59th minute.

RM: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well but struggled to catch the eye in the Chelsea half.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10
Caicedo caught the eye at times on both ends of the pitch.
CM: Andrey Santos – 6.5/10
He protected his backline well but failed to impress going forward.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10
Fernandez caused some headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.
LM: Marc Cucurella – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.
ST: Liam Delap – 6/10
Delap failed to prove his worth in the final third and was replaced at the hour mark.

He was quiet for most of his time on the field and there was no goal for him tonight.
