Macarthur are ninth in the Australian league and face Wellington on Friday at 11:35 French time, the 26th and final round.

Da Silva has played 365 professional matches, having come through Bordeaux before making his senior debut with Niort.

He moved to Caen in 2014, made 137 appearances over four seasons and established himself in Ligue 1. Rennes then signed him, and he lifted the Coupe de France in 2019.

After three full campaigns with Rennes, totalling 118 games and 8 goals, he joined Lyon in 2021 and played 29 times. He moved to Australia with Melbourne in 2023, then returned for a season at Clermont in 2024-2025. He signed for Macarthur in August 2025 and has made 25 appearances.
