David Beckham has delivered a major Newcastle United prediction.

This comes ahead of the Champions League kicking off this week.

Along with Jamie Carragher, David Beckham appearing on CBS to talk about the 2025/26 Champions League competition.

The presenter asking each of them to name their predictions for which team is going to win the Champions League, which player is going to be top scorer, as well as making a surprise prediction.

David Beckham and Jamie Carragher giving some interesting answers…

“We are asking you for predictions. Champions League winner, top scorer and a surprise?”

Jamie Carragher:

“I’m going to go for Barcelona, I think they will go close again.

“Top scorer, I will go with Isak. I think Liverpool will go close.

“And surprise. There is six English teams in the Champions League, I don’t think anybody (Any league) has had six teams in it before. I think the Premier League is the best league in Europe at the moment but some of them will find it tough. I would be surprised if more than three qualify for the knockout stage.”

David Beckham:

“I think PSG will go close again this year, but I am going to go for Real Madrid.

“Surprise?”

“My surprise would have to be…

“You know what, I think people are already writing Newcastle United off.
