Felix Passlack set up the opener in the first minute and later scored himself, as Hibernian beat Kilmarnock 3-0 at Easter Road.
He supplied the pass for Owen Elding to finish from close range in the first minute, giving Hibs instant control.
The midfielder then arrived to turn in Jordan Obita's delivery from very close range (12.), doubling the Hibees' advantage and underlining his timing into the box.
Passlack ended with one goal, one assist, two key passes, four clearances and six recoveries from 59 touches, blending end product with defensive graft.
He stayed a threat after the break too, winning a free kick high up the pitch (69.) as Kilmarnock struggled to track his advanced runs.
The Hibees remain fifth in the Scottish Premiership and visit Aberdeen next. Kilmarnock are 11th and host Dundee next.
