Thelo Aasgaard struck in the 52nd minute with a close-range finish as Rangers beat Dundee Utd 4-2. His goal restored a two-goal cushion and set the tone after the restart.
He had signalled intent early, twice drawing saves from distance (6., 30.), drifting into pockets between midfield and defence to keep the visitors guessing.
After the restart, Aasgaard arrived inside the six-yard area to turn in Djeidi Gassama's low delivery (52.), a move that reasserted Rangers' control and stretched The Arabs' back line.
He finished with four attempts, three on target, plus two key passes and five touches in the box, underlining how his constant movement between the lines pulled United out of shape and opened lanes for runners.
With momentum secured, Aasgaard's positioning continued to occupy markers and allowed Rangers to progress quickly through midfield, forcing United to defend facing their own goal more often.
