Decisive figure's first half double propels Sporting CP past Casa Pia

Geny Catamo struck in the 38th minute to set Sporting CP on their way to a 3-0 win over Casa Pia, then doubled the lead before the break.

His opener arrived after a sharp combination, the winger timing his run to finish from Trincão's pass (38.). The strike settled Leões and shifted the game's rhythm in the hosts' favour.

Catamo then punished Casa Pia again, finding space to convert following a forward pass from Gonçalo Inácio (43.). From there, his direct running kept the visitors retreating.

He finished with two shots on target from two attempts, 15 successful final third passes and five possession wins, a blend of incision and work rate that underpinned the performance.
