Deives has officially ended his Corinthians career after Monday’s friendly against the F-League All Stars in Japan. According to Meu Timao, he marked the farewell with a message on social media.

Organisers insisted on his inclusion despite the 2025 season having finished. He scored in the 2-2 draw at Nagoya Arena and also played in the defeat to Nagoya Oceans.

On Instagram he described it as his final match and final goal on the trip, said he will now support from the stands, and reflected on lessons from the Japanese people. He was also honoured by the Gaviões da Fiel branch in Japan with a commemorative shirt.

Across 10 seasons in two spells, from 2015 to 2016 and 2018 to 2025, he won 16 trophies, including the LNF in 2016 and 2022, plus multiple Paulista crowns and national cups through 2025.

He made 246 appearances and scored 156 goals. At 40, despite hip pain, he still led 2025 scoring with 25 and played 42 of 53 matches.

Corinthians return to Brazil for pre-season. In March they contest the Super Copa Gramado ahead of the LNF, Campeonato Paulista and Taça LNF. They could also play the Libertadores de Futsal if Ginásio Wlamir Marques is selected by Conmebol.
