The 21-year-old has made four appearances for Burnley so far this season
Derby County are set to sign Burnley winger Jaydon Banel on loan for the remainder of the season.
This fresh development comes just two days after the Rams let one of their only wingers, Corey Blackett-Taylor, depart on a temporary spell of his own to Bolton Wanderers.
With Derby also apparently exploring a move for Ipswich Town’s Sammie Szmodics, as first reported by Mike McGrath, this further activity points to a clear desire to finally inject some more creativity and goal threat into the final third before the window closes.

As per Dutch outlet Soccernews, 21-year-old Banel will reportedly finish the 25/26 campaign on loan at Pride Park.
Banel left Ajax for the Clarets on deadline day last year, after apparently turning down a contract extension in Amsterdam after coming through the club’s famed youth system - but has only played five times in total since moving.
The aforementioned report adds that Derby have tracked the winger since those Ajax days, and have finally won the race amid interest from other Championship clubs as well as sides in Spain, Germany and Belgium.
So far this season, the youngster has four times across all competitions - which includes a 28' minute cameo against Eustace's Rams in the Carabao Cup.
It's also understood that the Clarets are 'keen' on Banel to return to Lancashire at the end of the season, and have ruled out any potential option to buy. According to Capology estimates, he earned an estimated £7.5k-a-week last season in the second-tier, so it doesn't seem like an expensive transfer.

The potential arrival of Banel should go some way to softening any blow left by CBT, with the youngster seemingly offering pace and end product from wide areas. From his time at Jong Ajax - the Eredivisie club's reserve team - the forward scored 18 times in 85 appearances.
It's perhaps clear that the Rams need to strengthen in wide areas before the February 2nd deadline - and hopefully signing Banel will do that.
Despite Ben Brereton Diaz's two goals and two assists in his last five appearances, the Chilean still has his doubters at Pride Park - but not as many as Kayden Jackson, who seemed more likely to leave than Blackett-Taylor after being linked to Wycombe Wanderers.
In the Rams' most recent league match against West Bromwich Albion, Rhian Brewster was asked to play on the left, and despite completing the most dribbles in the match, failed to impress some fans.
Ultimately, adding a player of Banel's pedigree would definitely give Eustace something to think about in terms of team selection and style of play, and it's a signing that would definitely give some excitement to the fans.
