La Gazzetta dello Sport appear sure that Locatelli will sign a new contract at Juve. With Luciano Spalletti’s renewal secured, the club want to tie down their most important players to long-term deals.

Locatelli is viewed as a leader and someone who has a real presence in the dressing. His performances on the pitch have also been commanding, with a renewal until 2030 on the table. His current contract runs out in 2028, with the player keen on signing the contract on the table.

Spalletti had a strange relationship with the 28-year-old during his time as Italy manager. But now, even he recognises how he has matured and improved in the last 12 months.
