Inter Milan defender Tomas Palacios is ready to say yes to a loan to Monza for the rest of the season.
This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio. He reports in a tweet that the move will be a six month dry loan, with the clubs set to iron out the details.
Monza have been pushing to sign Inter defender Tomas Palacios.
The 22-year-old has barely featured for Inter over the first half of the season.
The Nerazzurri signed Palacios last summer. They signed him to bolster their defense in the future, rather than in the present.
Therefore, a loan away could give the Argentine the opportunity to get more playing time.
Monza are not the only team with an interest in Palacios’s signature.
Reportedly, Bayer Leverkusen are also keen to sign the Argentine.
However, it is Monza who have really been pushing for the deal.
And according to Di Marzio, Palacios is ready to give the green light.
The Argentine’s own choice was always going to be the decisive factor. And Palacios is now very much leaning towards the move to Monza, where he can play regularly.
Therefore, Di Marzio anticipates that the clubs will work on finalizing the six-month dry loan today.
