Dieng strikes, Munetsi replies as Lorient climb to ninth | OneFootball

Lorient and Paris FC drew 1-1 at the Stade du Moustoir on Sunday, a result that lifts Lorient from 10th to ninth in Ligue 1.

In the 54th minute, Bamba Dieng swept in from close range after Pablo Pagis delivered a cross following a corner to put Lorient ahead.

Jean-Victor Makengo then struck the left post (66.). Yvon Mvogo tipped Diego Coppola's header over (74.), but from the resulting corner Marshall Munetsi turned in from close range to equalise (74.).

Kevin Trapp saved well from Noah Cadiou's long-range effort (85.), before Oluwatosin Aiyegun went close from the centre of the box (88.).

Samir Chergui drew a final stop from Mvogo in the seventh minute of second half stoppage time after an Ilan Kebbal pass.

Paris FC produced five shots on target from seven attempts. Lorient slung in 26 crosses as they pressed late on.

Paris FC remain 13th. Next, Lorient visit Lyon. Paris FC host Monaco.
