In 10 days at Corinthians, Fernando Diniz has begun imposing his high-energy Dinizismo through lengthy talks and extended sessions, with encouraging early signs on the pitch.

According to Globo.com, his side have beaten Platense and Santa Fe and drawn with Palmeiras, scoring four and conceding none across those three games.

Work at CT Joaquim Grava now often starts with long briefings. Diniz has engaged regularly with Rodrigo Garro, Breno Bidon and André, and has also involved squad players such as Dieguinho. Sessions sometimes run into the evening without natural light.

Vocal and demanding in drills, he is trying to turn around a group that had gone nine matches without a win. Defender Gustavo Henrique spoke of a different, more charged energy and said the squad believe they can improve with and without the ball.

Technical and tactical work remains central. Diniz credits the clean-sheet run to collective defending. In attack he seeks more shots and rotations, for instance Bidon and Kayke providing width and quick crosses against Platense. Short passing and Hugo Souza’s feet-first build-up are being encouraged.

Despite injuries and a tight schedule, he has kept the same XI throughout his three matches, guided as much by feel and mentality as data. Corinthians visit Vitória at the Barradão on Saturday at 20:00 Brasília time in the Campeonato Brasileiro, but suspensions for Matheuzinho and André will enforce changes.
