FC Barcelona are staring at a huge challenge in order to keep their UEFA Champions League hopes alive.
Having lost 0-2 to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, the Catalans will now need to mount a comeback when they meet the Rojiblancos next Tuesday at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
It will be anything but easy for Barcelona, even more so considering that they are still without key winger Raphinha and Lamine Yamal is showing signs of exhaustion.
Amidst this, Mundo Deportivo reports that there is discontent growing at Barcelona over the lack of goals from their strikers, Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
Although everyone at the club agrees that a striker needs to be signed in the summer, no one expected the persistent goal drought from the current No. 9s in the decisive phase of the season.

Lewandowski started against Atletico on Wednesday but failed to make a mark in the 45 minutes he played. Ferran, who came on later in the second half, was also unable to threaten the goal.
Since February, Lewandowski has managed to score only four goals in 14 matches across all competitions for Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Ferran has only found the back of the net three times in 2026, with his last goal coming on February 1. It means that the Spaniard has now gone more than two months and 13 matches without a goal.
In addition, Marcus Rashford, who started on the left flank against Atletico Madrid in Raphinha’s absence and later moved into a central role, was guilty of missing chances from promising positions.
So, there is some frustration and discontent at Barcelona over the situation. But the hope will be that Ferran and Lewandowski can find their goalscoring boots in the coming days with crucial fixtures up ahead.
