St Mirren came from behind to beat Falkirk 2-1 at Falkirk Stadium, claiming their sixth Scottish Premiership win of the season.

In the 15th minute, Barney Stewart steered in from the centre of the box for The Bairns, before Miguel Freckleton levelled with a close range header from Scott Tanser's cross following a corner (18.).

Stewart then headed against the right post later in the half. Scott Bain denied Jake Young from range before the interval.

After a double change early in the second half, the visitors carried more threat and took the lead when Liam Donnelly glanced in Mark O'Hara's set piece cross (63.).

Shamal George preserved the advantage with a save from Filip Lissah in the closing stages. St Mirren finished with 32 clearances as they protected their box.

The Bairns had 57.8% possession and seven corners. St Mirren registered four efforts on target from 11 attempts.

Next, The Bairns visit Motherwell. St Mirren host Aberdeen next.
