Manchester United welcomed Manchester City at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Bryan Mbeumo scored the opener in the 65th minute before Patrick Dorgu doubled his team’s advantage just 11 minutes later. The Manchester derby ended with Michael Carrick’s players securing a solid 2-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Casemiro – 7/10

Casemiro anchored the midfield with conviction but wasted a glorious chance to score.

CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and made one good run with the ball.

RW: Amad Diallo – 7/10

Diallo came back to defend when needed and was unfortunate to hit the post.

CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 8.5/10

He made a lot of good chances for others around him and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LW: Patrick Dorgu – 8.5/10

Dorgu managed to catch the eye at times on the left flank and managed to score his team’s second goal in the 76th minute.

ST: Bryan Mbeumo – 7/10

He was not shy of having a strike at goal and did well to score the opener in the 65th minute.
