OGC Nice will be without Elye Wahi, suspended, and Maxime Dupé for the first leg of the play-off at AS Saint-Étienne on Tuesday, kick-off 20:45. Dupé is staying with his wife as she nears childbirth.

Four days after their 1-3 Coupe de France final defeat by Lens, Nice must quickly refocus to secure Ligue 1 survival. According to L'Équipe, 22 players have been named for the trip.

Among the notable omissions is number two goalkeeper Dupé, who has not travelled for family reasons. To cover, 17-year-old Martin Ponsot, yet to make a senior appearance, is called up.

As expected, Wahi misses out through suspension. Tanguy Ndombele has again been left out, for the fourth match in a row.

Salis Abdul Samed returns after sitting out the cup final. The Tunisian, Ali Abdi, whose involvement had been uncertain, is included for this tie against ASSE.
