Paulo Dybala revealed a behind-the-scenes look into what went on this past summer.
After the team’s win over Como, CBS Sports released an interview with the Argentine footballer where he discussed his links with an exit from the Italian capital in the summer of 2024.
“Rome has an important name as a city and as a history but also in football, because this shirt has been worn by players like Totti and De Rossi or great Argentines like Batistuta.”
“What happened last summer? It was a very challenging summer, I was close to saying goodbye but after speaking with my wife and my family we all agreed that it was not the time to leave Rome, the city and European football.”
“I felt I could still give something more,” he added.
“The people of Rome made me feel an incredible love from day one and from that day on I felt I had to give them something back.”
“When I was a child I watched a lot of movies set in Rome and to be here now is a dream for me.”
