Paulo Dybala has a month to convince Roma to continue his pursuit of him.
A month after undergoing meniscus surgery, the Argentine underwent a check-up yesterday at Villa Stuart, with positive results.
Dybala is now back on the pitch. He is expected to return to the squad next week, although he will likely have to wait until April 25th against Bologna to see him back in the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, the Argentine has taken his time before responding to offers from Turkey and Boca Juniors.
He’d like to try and convince the Giallorossi to sign a new contract, which currently seems far off.
He has the support of Gasperini, who doesn’t want to lose him on a free transfer and is pushing the club to negotiate a renewal.
Obviously, Dybala will need to make an effort, as he will have to drastically reduce his salary. It’s still too early to talk about it, especially given the freeze on contract renewals imposed by the Friedkins.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, regardless of whether Dybala will stay, Roma is evaluating several options. First and foremost, Julian Brandt, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund is expiring and a former strike partner of Malen.
In recent weeks, Chilean midfielder Dario Osorio of Midtjylland, valued at around €15 million, has also been seen live.
