EAFC26 will be officially released next week. In anticipation of this years edition, and as we did last year, we will look at who are the best players from each of the Belgian Pro League sides.

AnderlechtColin Coosemans

OneFootball Video

After a strong season as the sides number one last year, Colin Coosemans has been rewarded with a 77 rating on EAFC26. the 33-year-old is just ahead of summer signing Adriano Bertaccini, who has been given a 75 rating this season. This is a leap for the Anderlecht goalkeeper from last seasons edition where he was rated at 73.

Antwerp – Vincent Janssen

Vincent Janssen is the only ‘gold’ tier player on EAFC26 for Antwerp this season, coming in at a rating of 77. He is ahead of young defender Zeno Van Den Bosch at 74. Janssen stays the same as he was last year, which does reflect how important he is to Antwerp this season outside of the game as well.

Club Brugge – Hans Vanaken

Hans Vanaken is the top player for Club Brugge this season with a rating of 80. He is on par with Christos Tzolis and ahead of Raphael Onyedika, which is an accurate reflection of the top two players at Club Brugge this season. for some reason Simon Mignolet has been downgraded from ‘gold’ tier and a 77 rating in last seasons game to just 74 in EAFC26. Another strange decision is that Gustaf Nilsson remains a ‘gold’ tier player with a 75 rating.

Standard Liege – Matthieu Epolo

Young goalkeeper Matthiue Epolo leads the way for Standard Liege in EAFC26 this year, level on 73 with Dennis Eckert Ayensa. Standard Liege have no ‘gold’ tier players, an accurate representation of the current situation. One player who seems very underrated on the game is Adnane Abid, with the former Patro Eisden winger only rated a 58.

Dender – Roman Kvet

Czech midfielder Roman Kvet is just ahead of Moise Sahi and Bryan Goncalves for Dender with a rating of 70. Sahi is a surprising rating given that he has yet to even start a game for Dender but is their ‘second’ best player according to EAFC26. Perhaps they know something that Dender don’t. Malcom Viltard may feel hard done by coming in at 60 despite a strong season last year.

Charleroi – Patrick Pflucke

Deadline day signing Patrick Plucke is apparently the best player Charleroi have according to EAFC26. The German winger sits one ahead of Ivorian winger Parfait Guiagon, who certainly has a case for being the Zebras highest rated player. No ‘gold’ tier players for Charleroi this season, although if Kakob Napoleon Romsaas continues to impress the game may need to revisit his lowly 63 rating.

Genk – Bryan Heynen

Captain Bryan Heynen’s 78 rating on EAFC26 puts him top of the Genk pile just one ahead of the returning Junya Ito. Genk have plenty of ‘gold’ tier players alongside Heynen, with the likes of Zakaria El Ouahdi, Matte Smets and Jarne Steuckers to name a few.

Gent – Davy Roef

Roef comes in just behind Cooseman’s as one of the top goalkeepers in Belgium with a 76 rating. He is the only ‘gold’ tier Gent player on EAFC26 this year, with summer signings Abdelkahar Kadri and Siebe Van der Heyden in second place and a rating of 73. Again, this is probably an accurate reflection of where Gent are at this moment in time.

Sint Truiden – Loic Lapoussin

Madagascan international Loic Lapoussin has not played a game for Sint Truiden this season but sits top of their EAFC26 rankings on 72. In truth, second placed Ryotaro Ito should be top and based on this season alone should be a ‘gold’ tier player. Taiga Hata is certainly underrated on the game, with a rating of just 62 far too low for what he can do on the pitch. Keisuke Goto is also incredibly underrated at just 56, far too low when we consider what he has already achieved this season.

Westerlo – Allahyar Sayyadmanesh

Sayyadmanesh comes out on top alongside Dogucan Haspolat. The latter is easily Westerlo’s best player and could be a 75 rather than 74 rating. Sayyadmanesh started the 2024/2025 season well but tailed off significantly and is not even a starter for the side this season. Sinan Bolat is somehow still rated at 70, a lazy move from the developers to be honest given how far he has dropped off. Clearly, whoever put together his rating has not watched him play for three or four seasons now! Especially when we see that Isa Sakamoto is rated only 54, despite having been in great form with two goals and an assist so far this season.

Cercle Brugge – Oumar Diakite

Cercle Brugge fans have yet to see much of Diakite this season, but he tops the side on EAFC26 with a 72 rating. The versatile Gary Magnee comes in second at 70, alongside a host of other players. Nazinho may well feel hard done by at only having a rating of 67 given how well he performed last season. The Portuguese defender certainly deserves a rating of 70 at least.

Union St Gilloise – Adem Zorgane

Plenty of ‘gold’ tier players for Union St Gilloise after their title win last season. Summer signing Adem Zorgane tops the list alongside experienced defender Christian Burgess with bot rated at 78. Rob Schoofs comes in at 76 just behind them, alongside Kevin Mac Allister. Promise David jumps from 70 to 75 after his heroics for the side last season.

OH Leuven – Siebe Schrijvers

Club captain Siebe Schrijvers leads the way for OH Leuven on EAFC26 with a rating of 74. The midfielder is just ahead of Tobe Leysen and Noe Dussenne, an accurate reflection of the sides top three players. Youssef Maziz, who struggles to make the starting 11, is at 72. Maziz is a good player but OH Leuven just cannot seem to get the best out of him at the moment. Wouter George only being rated 59 and Abdoul Karim Traore at just 56 are very harsh ratings.

KV Mechelen – Ortwin De Wolf

With Schoofs gone, Ortwin De Wolf is the only ‘gold’ tier player for KV Mechelen this season. The goalkeeper, who recently lost his starting spot to Nacho Miras, comes in at 75. Kerim Mrabti is second on 74, with Benito Raman third at 73. Bill Antonio seems underrated with a rating of just 62 and a very low pace rating given is actual speed on the pitch. His dribbling is also low at 64 despite being his best asset.

Zulte Waregem – Jelle Vossen

We haven’t seen much of veteran striker Jelle Vossen at Zulte Waregem this year, but the striker comes in at a 71 rating to lead the side. He is ahead of Jeppe Erenbjerg and Joseph Opoku, with the two players rated at 69. Both have been impressive to start the season. Wilguens Paugain has been treated incredibly harshly by the EAFC26 ratings team, with the Hatian defender being given a rating of just 55. Paugain has been good to start the season and starts most games. Midfielder Tachukwu Nnadi is also treated unfairly at a rating of only 58.

RAAL La Louviere – Mouhamed Belkheir

Mouhamed Belkheir led RAAL to promotion last season and leads the side on EAFC26 with a rating of 70. He is ahead of Alexis Beka Beka, with the midfielder just behind on 69. On balance, the ratings for RAAL seem pretty fair with a number of silver tier players and only a handful of bronze.

Below are the top 10 rated Pro League players on EAFC26 this season.
