EFL clubs discover their 2026/27 fixtures at 12pm today, Thursday 25 June, across the Championship, League One and League Two, with Wolves, West Brom and Walsall awaiting the release.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the EFL Trophy groups are drawn at 2.30pm, followed by the Carabao Cup round one draw at 4.30pm, live on Sky Sports News.

Wolves and West Brom will receive Championship schedules, while Walsall’s is in League Two. Wolves were relegated after eight years in the Premier League, and West Brom finished strongly under James Morrison.

Walsall will face Exeter City, Port Vale, Rotherham United and Northampton Town after their relegation from League One. York City and Rochdale return to the EFL after 100-plus point National League seasons.

The EFL season begins the weekend of August 14-16. Carabao Cup round one precedes it on August 7-9, and the EFL Trophy starts in the week beginning September 21.

This is year three of the Sky Sports broadcast deal, with more than 1,000 matches set to be shown live.

TV selections will be staged. By July 2 they cover matches through September. By July 31 they run to January 8-11, 2027, with further choices by November 6, 2026 for games to March 2-3, 2027.

Matches for March 5-8, 2027 will be announced by February 5, 2027. The penultimate weekend is set three weeks out, and the final day is confirmed the week before.
