Nottingham Forest have completed their first January move, allowing Arnaud Kalimuendo to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.

The club said in a statement that the forward will spend the rest of the 2025/26 season in Germany, and Frankfurt hold an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

Kalimuendo only arrived at the City Ground last summer, joining from Rennes in a £26m transfer.

Frankfurt believe the striker, despite his young age, has delivered consistently in Ligue 1 and brings pace, runs in behind, clinical finishing and hard work off the ball.

They also stressed his fit in footballing terms and character, and are confident their environment can help him keep developing and realise his potential.
