Elliot Anderson has said he is not distracted by transfer speculation as the midfielder aims for success with Nottingham Forest and England.
Anderson has been linked with an exit from the City Ground in the summer withManchester City and Manchester United among the clubs reportedly keen on a deal.
Interest in the 23-year-old is high after an outstanding individual season, despite Forest's battle to survive in thePremier League. He ranks among the Premier League's top performers for tackles won, crosses and fouls drawn.
As a result, Anderson has cemented his place in the England squad and is the frontrunner to partner Declan Rice in midfield at this summer'sWorld Cup.
Speaking to the media ahead ofEngland's friendly fixture with Japan tomorrow, Anderson said his sole focus is on a successful end to the season.
Asked about the distraction of the transfer noise, Anderson said: "We have the World Cup this summer, my eyes are on that. Playing for England, I've got the badge on, that's all I'm thinking about at the moment.
"All the games are the same, I'm just going on the pitch and doing my best. Fight for whatever strip I have on, that's all I'm doing."
Anderson has built an encouraging partnership with Rice with England, and praised the Arsenal midfielder for his role in helping him settle into Thomas Tuchel's squad.
He said he's keen to continue learning from Rice as he looks to take his own game to the next level.
"It's really good. Since I've came him he's helped me feel comfortable, he's helped me learn on the job. The relationship on the pitch is really good.
"On and off the pitch, seeing the way he plays, I'm trying to learn from him."
England take on Japan at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 BST.
