Unai Emery says he expects to have youngster Alysson involved when Aston Villa take on Wolves on Friday.

The Brazilian forward joined Villa in January but has struggled with injury since signing and has played just once.

But Emery says he the 19-year-old is expected to train ahead of the clash with Midlands rivals Wolves.

“Alysson is coming back, probably in the squad tomorrow in case he trains fine this afternoon,” Emery said.

“The other players, apart from the ones who we knew were injured, we hope will be available tomorrow.”

Despite Wolves’ position at the bottom of the table, Emery says he is expecting a tough test.

“The last match they played at home against Arsenal, they drew, against the best team in the Premier League, and maybe in the world this year,” he said.

“And last week, against Crystal Palace away, they lost (in) the last minute, one player less because they had one red card, but they played (a) fantastic game, and they deserved more.

“Everything we analysing of them makes not an easy match, feel not an easy match and feeling as well, for them and for us, it’s a derby, because we are both here in Premier League for a long time, and close here, and we can feel it as a derby.

“And they are playing at home with their supporters, and they will feel the necessary match for them to show their capacity against us.”
